This Norwegian viking hails from the great state of Montana, and grew up with a passion for the moutains and their Creator. Pastor Jeremy loves to spend quality time with his beautiful wife Chantelle! They are proud parents to their first baby Remington John, and are extremely excited. He also loves having coffee with the people from the Kaio youth family, and hanging out with friends. His musical tastes are summed up by digging bands like For Today, Norma Jean, August Burns Red, The Classic Crime, and Thrice. He loves the outdoors and taking long walks with Chantelle and their dog Spencer, especially in the summertime. Jesus Christ has changed Jeremy's life, and without Him he would be lost! He considers it a God given privilege that him and his wife earned B.A. Youth Ministry degrees together at Briercrest College & Seminary, and share a passion for youth! He has been the youth pastor at the "MJCOG" since August 2008.

Chantelle Erickson

Born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, she cried the moment her plane landed in Saskatchewan because of how flat and empty it was! Graduated from Briercrest College and Seminary with a BA Youth Ministry and a ring by spring from Jeremy! Her and Jeremy are proud parents to their first son, Remington John, and couldn't be happier! She also enjoys running/working out, cooking (and eating!), ethnic food, reading, hanging out with youth, board games, the NFL and the NBA, travelling, shooting guns, Thrice, R & B, 80's and 90's music, the Divas and spending time with friends and family. She is currently finishing up a Business Certificate from SIAST and has started chipping away at a Master of Arts in Leadership and Management for some future purpose that is still unknown to her. She feels called and passionate about working with youth because she would not be where she is today without each person in her adolescent years that walked a long, and sometimes very difficult journey with her.
James SzetoAll you need to know about James: He goes by Szeto or The Ninja. He is from Ottawa Ontario, currently a student at Briercrest College & Seminary and an intern under Pastor Jeremy. Many people through the years have questioned James’ ethnic background. Calling him Asian really doesn’t cut it, because the word Asian refers to a variety of ethnicities in the east, but you should ask him and find out for yourself. James is an outgoing person who loves connecting with youth. He loves the outdoors and seeing God's creation. James would love to get to know you, or else he will hunt you down!
Chad BraunChad Braun is born and raised in and around Moose Jaw. He has worked
with youth of some variety in either camp ministry, kids clubs and youth
groups. Chad met Sharon at church and they were married shortly after.
Currently he is enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration at
the University of Regina.
A big part of Chad's passion for youth
ministry comes from his high school years and some of the things he
struggled through. Recently Chad has been challenged on what it means to
be Christ like and how he has to die to his nature to allow Christ to
live through him on a daily basis.
Sharon BraunSharon, also known as "Smiley," when asked why she is always so happy will tell you: she has the Joy of Jesus! Sharon was born and raised in Nova Scotia and moved to Saskatchewan after high school to take a few years in music at Briercrest College and Seminary. She as well had high hopes to get her "Mrs." title while studying at Briercrest aka "Bridalquest." She failed to get her ring by spring like her friend Chantelle. She later found love at the Church of God, and married her tall, dark and handsome husband.. Chad Braun. Sharon loves to sing and play piano, cook and bake, play tennis, and spend quality time with family and friends. Sharon loves working with the youth and loves the challenge and uniqueness that each one has to offer. She above all has a passion to see each youth come to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and for each one to experience the joy that comes form knowing Him. For without Him we have nothing.
James DaleJames "Chip" "JD" Dale is a very hard working yet warm hearted young man! He loves to teach the youth all about a good hard work ethic, as he is an employee for Wal-Berg Enterprises. He also loves to teach the boys football skills and also what it means to be a young man of God! James has traveled to Haiti to help with building projects after the earthquake with our church mission team, and that has helped shape his character in the Lord.
Rachel ShanderaRachel was raised in New Westminster B.C. She attended Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford B.C., and moved to Moose Jaw in April 2009 for a boy named Brit who is now her husband! She loves playing games and learning new trivia. One of her favorite things is baby Remington and eating flavored tuna. She paints, plays the trumpet, and learns at SIAST. Her newest passion is youth and their crazy fun personalities!
Jesse Cutbill
Jesse is currently a Briercrest College student, passionately studying God's Word and becoming transformed by it. He has a real heart for prayer, Scripture, and teaching today's youth about that. He is also very laid back, and has a great sense of humor! He hails from the beautiful land of B.C., loves the outdoors and loves spending time with youth.
Brenda Beaton
Brenda is a super fun person with an amazing personality! She comes from the land of Ontario and as she is studying at Briercrest College, she is passionately giving her time to serving our youth! She has much wisdom about the Bible, and her teaching skills are awesome! Brenda is always ready to have fun, and at the same time is always willing to sit down and chat with you. God has blessed Kaio Youth with another great leader!
